Misr Insurance renews global reinsurance agreements for 2017

Egypt-based Misr Insurance Company has renewed reinsurance agreements for 2017 with a list of major reinsurers, chairman Adel Mousa announced Thursday.

Misr Insurance has increased its capacity for each agreement to $200 million, Mousa added.

“We have renewed agreements with 100 reinsurers accredited by the Egyptian Financial Supervisory Authority (EFSA), notably Swiss Re Group, PartnerRe, and Hannover Re.” Misr Insurance’s official stated.
