Egypt’s contracting firm, Mokhtar Ibrahim will be carrying out two water projects in Oman and Saudi Arabia, with total cost of one billion Egyptian pounds (US$131 million).
According to Mahmoud Hegazy – Chairman of parent company Holding company for Construction and Development (HCCD), Mokhtar Ibrahim’s project in Oman is with an investment cost of 600 million pounds; while the Saudi project will be with investments estimated at 400 million pounds.
He further noted that the company has lately completed five major projects in Oman, referring to plans to expanding its volume of businesses in Saudi Arabia through undertaking more projects there.
