Egypt’s foodstuff industries group Mo’men targets presenting new investments in food industry sector worth US$100 million during Egypt’s Economic Summit, the group’s chairman Hatem Momen stated on Wednesday.
Egypt Economic Development Conference (EEDC), with the theme of ” Egypt the Future” is scheduled to be held on March 13-15 in Sharm El Sheikh.
The chairman noted that the group intends to make new expansions and compete in local and Arab markets, clarifying that the group has national and social trend to support Egyptian economy by participating in any international event.
Mo’men asserted that the group is sure about the growth that Egyptian market would witness especially after the positive steps taken by the government recently to improve the investment climate and attract Egyptian, Arab, and foreign investors.
He also added that his group will participate in EEDC’s sessions, especially those related to foodstuff and tourism investments, in addition to meeting with a number of regional and international officials and business partners to seal a number of deals.
