A Moroccan mission will visit Egypt during the last week of September 2016 to explore means of enhancing economic cooperation between two countries and available investment opportunities in Egypt.
Chamber of Food Industries at Federation of Egyptian Industries (FEI) announced Tuesday that members of the mission would focus on a number of sectors notably food industries, financial services, automotive industries, transport, logistics, and infrastructure.
The two-day visit is set to witness holding an expanded meeting to showcase available investment opportunities in Egypt beside procedures that have been adopted to improve investment climate.
During first day of the visit, mutual meeting between Egyptian and Moroccan businessmen are scheduled to be held, while the second day is set to witness visits to a number of factories, the chamber stated.
At the end of July 2016, the chamber convened a meeting to prepare for the Moroccan mission visit. It encompassed representatives of Egyptian agriculture ministry, Central Bank of Egypt (CBE), Egyptian Financial Supervisory Authority (EFSA), and General Authority for the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone).
The meeting also included representatives of Egyptian Engineering Export Council, food industries and engineering chambers, and Juhayna for Food Industries.
