Multiple Italian Companies Keen to Invest in Egyptian Energy Projects

Multiple major Italian companies have expressed keenness to participate in solar energy projects in Egypt within the coming period, said Maurizio Massari, the Italian ambassador to Cairo.

This comes following a meeting between the Italian officials headed by Massari and the Egyptian Investment Minister Ashraf Salman alongside a number of Egyptian representatives from the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI). The meeting discussed the current Italian investments in Egypt in sectors of automobile tires, petroleum, natural gas, and energy.
