The member states of Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) contain 57% of global oil exports.
The oil exporting members of NAM exports some 35 million barrels of oil per day, which is around 57 percent of the total volume of global oil exports.
Totally In the world 130 states are in the list of exporting countries, which exports around 62 million barrels of oil per day.
Most of the top global oil exporters, namely Saudi Arabia, Iran, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Nigeria, Venezuela, Iraq, Algeria, Angola, Oman, Indonesia and Libya, are also members of NAM.
More than 50 countries of NAM members, have exported oil or oil products in last year. NAM states earned around 1565 billion dollars worth of exporting oil and oil products in 2011.
The Sixteenth Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM), will be held on 26-31 August 2012, in Tehran, under the chairmanship of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Some 120 nations share membership of the movement, representing 55 percent of the world’s population and nearly two-thirds of the United Nations body. Indeed, the NAM is sometimes referred to as the “real United Nations” as it is seen to be more democratically representative of the mutual interests of the world’s majority than the Western-dominated UN with its self-appointed Security Council.
