New Egyptian Satellite ‘EgySat’ to Launch from Kazakhstan on Wednesday

Egyptian Satellite EgySat is scheduled to be launched. Wednesday by the Russian Space Agency from Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan.

It was previously announced in February that the Russian Space Agency is scheduled to launch three Russian-made satellites into space for Egypt and Kazakhstan; Condor A, EgySat, and Kaza Sat 3.

The Egy Sat will reportedly be able to capture photos with accuracy of up to one meter, as well as working on the sun-synchronous orbit at an altitude of about 700 km and it will contribute in supporting Egypt’s presence in space field as a prelude to establish Egyptian space agency that will invest the availability of scientists and researcher efforts in this field.

Egy Sat serves all the development fields in Egypt including Agriculture, Industry, Mineral, Planning , environment fields and it is possible to support the development projects in Arab region and Africa.
