Ugandan government approved allocating industrial zone for Egyptian investors there to facilitate setting up joint projects between Egyptian and Ugandan businessmen within the coming period.
Egyptian Trade Minister Tarek Qabil stated Wednesday that a delegation of Egyptian businessmen is set to visit Uganda to review investment opportunities available in Uganda.
The minister made these remarks during his meeting with Ugandan Foreign Affairs Minister Henry Oryem Okello.
During the meeting, Qabil and Okello discussed preparations for the Egyptian-Ugandan trade joint committee which is scheduled to take place at the end of 2016.
Qabil asserted that both countries eye enhancing mutual trade relations since they are members of The Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA) and have a lot of trade and economic agreements between each others.
