Nagi Alber, representative of the Egyptian side, Egyptian-Italian Friendship and Cooperation Society, said Egypt has agreed with the Italian side to receive a delegation of Italian businessmen next October to discuss the results of the cooperation studies that the two sides had prepared in order to boost the rates of the commercial exchange and investments between Egypt and Italy.
In statements to “Amwal Al Ghad”, Alber said it is expected that the executive plans of the joint investing ventures between Italian and Egyptian businessmen will be negotiated.
He added that the Egyptian side will also pay a visit to Italy, includes a number of investors and Egyptian manufacturers from Engineering Industries Chamber of FEI, Federation of Egyptian Industries, the Egyptian Business Development Association (Ebda), and Industrial Investors Syndicate.
Alber expected that the coming meeting with the Italian side will reach executive plans for the investing cooperation between Egypt and Italy, as the Italian side, during its last visit to Egypt, tested the investing climate in the Egyptian economy. The Italian investors approved the work in Egypt during the coming period.
The Italian delegation of businessmen and big companies’ owners visited Egypt last March and offered the Egyptian side to cooperate in a number of industrial sectors; such as cars manufacture, engineering industries, agricultural and tourism projects.
