Official: Egypt’s New Government Keen on Taking all Urgent Economic Decisions

Trade minister Mounir Fakhry Abdel-Nour asserted that the government is keen on taking all urgent economic decisions that aim at dealing with the changes that took place in the political and economic fields.

Abdel-Nour also noted that these decisions should contribute to encouraging the private sector to lead the economic system of the country in the coming period, especially that Egypt will carry out a number of major development national projects able to attract local, Arab and foreign investments such as Suez Canal development project, in addition to other projects.

The remarks came during the minister’s meeting with a German parliamentary delegation, during a Cairo visit.
