Oracle to take part in Cairo ICT 2015

Oracle, the world’s second biggest software company, is to participate in Cairo ICT 2015 exhibition to present cloud computing solutions such as “open work” solution; said Vice President in Middle East, Turkey and Africa.

Cairo ICT is the most established conference, tech showcase, and, exhibition for the ICT industry in Middle East & Africa

Abdul Rahman Al-Thehaiban added that Oracle will also launch Oracle Day for the first time during the exhibition.

Al-Thehaiban said Oracle’s business volume in MENA, Turkey and Africa, has increased by 7 percent in 2015.

Oracle is aiming to expand into businesses in Egypt within the upcoming years according to the market needs, he added.

The company has cooperated lately with the Egyptian government to carry out the smart card programme for subsided commodities which is considered to be one of the most successful projects.

Moreover, Thehaiban said that Oracle Corporation has seized 60 companies in different fields such as communication and information technology in the past five years.

For the 19th consecutive year, the Cairo ICT 2015 exhibition allows attendees to familiarise themselves with the latest technology and related products. The conference will be under the slogan “GO SMART!”.
