Pakistan’s consumer prices saw a notable drop in September 2024, reaching the lowest inflation rate in over four years. The Bureau of Statistics reported a 6.93 per cent decrease in the consumer price index (CPI) compared to September 2023.
Month-over-month, consumer prices fell by 0.5 per cent in September, continuing a downward trend from the previous month’s 0.4 per cent decline. This positive development has been attributed to several key factors.
