Palestinian death toll reaches 10K in one month of Israeli raids

Israel has killed 10,022 Palestinians in less than a month of relentless bombing in Gaza, a number likely to rise as Israeli troops advance into dense, urban neighborhoods, said the Palestinian Health Ministry on Monday.

The causalities include over 4,100 children and 2,640 women, with many victims still trapped beneath the rubble and an Israeli siege drying up access to vital goods like fuel, food and electricity.

The grim toll has increased after Israeli airstrikes hit Maghazi refugee camp and Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip on Sunday, killing scores of people, health officials said.

Despite appeals and overseas demonstrations, Israel has continued its bombardment across Gaza, saying it is targeting Hamas and accusing it of using civilians as human shields.
