Palestinian flag hung on Leaning Tower of Pisa

The Palestinian flag was hung from the Leaning Tower of Pisa, spanning nearly the whole length of the Italian monument, Al Jazeera showed in a video posted to X on Monday.

Black, red and green coloured smoke was also released from where the flag was hung.

The famous landmark was filled with protestors calling for an immediate ceasefire.

According to authorities, no damage to the tower was reported and the demonstration ended in an orderly manner.
