Petrojet, Sonatrach sign MoU for joint venture in Algeria

Petrojet and Sonatrach signed a MoU to explore establishing a joint venture in Algeria. The agreement, signed at Sonatrach's General Directorate in Algeria, was attended by Petrojet's Chairman and Managing Director, Walid Lotfy, and Sonatrach's President and General Manager, Rachid Hachichi- Cabinet

Petrojet and Algeria’s state-owned Sonatrach signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on Sunday, to explore establishing a joint venture in Algeria for designing and manufacturing static equipment, adhering to American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) standards.

This MoU, rooted in a 2022 agreement between the Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources and the Algerian Ministry of Energy and Mines, supports the Egyptian petroleum sector’s strategy to strengthen global partnerships.
