Egypt PM: 3 global textile firms to set up plants in Egypt

Egypt’s Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly told reporters on Wednesday that three major international textile companies have begun setting up plants in Egypt, including two Turkish firms with total investments reaching $150 million.

In addition, a leading global sportswear brand has reached a preliminary agreement with Egypt’s General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI) to enter the Egyptian market, he added.
