PM: Govt. committed to mega infrastructure projects amid challenges

Egypt’s Prime Minister, Moustafa Madbouly, emphasised that despite the significant challenges and difficulties in recent years, the government has been committed to building strong infrastructure and executing various national projects. These initiatives are crucial to attracting investments and encouraging further economic growth in the future.

Madbouly acknowledged the highly turbulent period experienced globally over the past five years, describing it as one of the most difficult in human history, particularly for the Middle East. He pointed out that the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Russian-Ukrainian war, and ongoing crises in the Middle East, which evolve daily, have created additional challenges and uncertainty. These global events have, in turn, contributed to rising inflation rates across the world.

Nevertheless, Madbouly stressed that despite these obstacles, the government has worked diligently to strengthen the country’s infrastructure and implement projects that will not only improve the economy but also attract more investments in the years to come.
