Capital market sources said Egypt’s Investment Minister Osama Saleh was mandated by Prime Minister Hisham Kandil to be the minister in charge of applying the provisions of the law regarding regulation of non-banking, financial markets and instruments.
Worth mentioning, President Mohamed Morsi issued a decree on Tuesday to appoint Kandil as the minister in charge of the Egyptian Financial Supervisory Authority (EFSA) and the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).
