Sisi says Egypt targets investment opportunities in Africa

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi said in his speech at Munich Security Policy Conference that Africa has great potentials of natural and human resources if well invested will make Africa the driving force for world economic growth.

He added that terrorism became an international phenomenon leading to undermining the stability of societies. This requires everybody to work seriously for uprooting terrorism which is threatening development efforts.

Fighting terrorism requires fighting terrorist groups and countries that are supporting it for achieving regional ambitions and political goals, the president pointed out.

He further noted that the unsettled Palestinian issue is a main source of instability in the Middle East. The international community should exert all efforts for ending this conflict in accordance with international resolutions and the two-state principle.

Also, the Libyan issue is one of the most important African issues that needs extending support for the political track and backing State institutions and the military there to end this crisis, said the president.

It is also important to talk about the issue of illegal migration and refugees which requires a comprehensive solution, added the president.
