President’s Advisor: Egypt’s Public Sector Requires Restructuring

Dr Ahmed Soliman, Advisor to President Morsi for projects, said the public sector in Egypt is suffering from permanent confusion in its performance, especially the industrial sector. So the government has to follow policies that aim at restructuring the efforts, which serve the development in Egypt.

In his statements to “Amwal Al Ghad”, Soliman asserted that the state has to maximize its use of different economic resources through general strategies for manufacturing, and coordinating the investments of the special sectors in Egypt, which suffer from weak productive capabilities at the same time.

The advisor said Egypt has good industrial examples and able to lead the Egyptian industrial renaissance, if the government uses them as examples in its investments; like Asfour Crystal, Juhaina, and Toshiba.
