RSPA Targets 350.000 Tourists By April 2013

The Red Sea Ports Authority (RSPA) is aiming at attracting as to 350.000 tourists during the tourism season from December 2012 to April 2013.

A reliable source in (RSPA) said the authority is aiming at increasing the number of tourists to 100.000 ones during the current tourism season to reach 350.000 tourists, compared to 250.000 in 2011. During this season, the authority focuses on Sharm Al Sheikh, Safaga and Ain Al Sukhna; the most attracting for tourists in Red Sea.

The source added that the authority is dealing with 10 global tourism companies to organize inbound tours, which depend on the winter season and the Christmas holidays.

The movement of ships and goods in the authority hasn’t influenced by the protests and sit-ins in the governorates of Egypt, about the Constitutional Declaration and the Constitution.
