Russia-Uzbekistan joint projects hit $45b milestone
The volumes of trade and investment between Russia and Uzbekistan are increasing, with joint projects now totaling $45 billion, said Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev in a statement following talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin, state-run TASS reported on Monday.
The two nations have agreed to establish a joint investment platform to support projects by their leading enterprises. The discussions also covered cooperation in energy (including nuclear), agriculture, innovation, migration, and security.
