The Russian stock market saw an increase as trading opened on the Moscow Exchange on Monday, TASS reported.
The MOEX Index rose by 0.41 per cent to 3,516.4 points, while the dollar-denominated RTS Index increased by 0.46 per cent to 1,217.44 points, according to trading data at 10:00 am Moscow time (07:00 am GMT).
By 10:20 a.m. (07:20 am GMT), the MOEX Index had further increased by 0.25 per cent to 3,510.4 points, and the RTS Index was up by 0.45 per cent to 1,217.28 points.
In currency exchange, the dollar rate fell by 0.12 per cent to 90.84 rubles on the Moscow Exchange. Meanwhile, the euro rose by 0.04 per cent to 98.78 rubles, and the yuan fell by 0.3 per cent to 12.534 rubles.
