Russian stocks rise on Thursday

Russian stocks rose on Thursday midday trade. The MOEX index increased by 0.29 per cent to 2,707.7 points by 12:17 Moscow time, while the RTS index also rose by 0.29 per cent to 932.78 points.

At the same time, the yuan strengthened against the rouble, rising to 11.8357 roubles from 11.7513 roubles on Wednesday.
