S. Korea’s SK On declares emergency as EV sales drop

South Korean electric vehicle (EV) battery giant SK On has entered a state of emergency management due to disappointing EV sales in Europe and the United States, according to a report by the Financial Times on Sunday.

The company’s CEO, Lee Seok-hee, announced a series of cost-cutting measures and adjustments to working practices in a letter to employees on Monday.
