Sandra Bullock Named World’s Most Beautiful Woman

Academy Award-winning actress Sandra Bullock has been named the 2015 World’s Most Beautiful Woman by People magazine.

The 50-year-old movie star, who confessed to telling no one about at her Most Beautiful title and called it “ridiculous,” spoke to the publication and gave her definition of beauty, which she said isn’t based on physical appearances.

“Real beauty is quiet,” the Gravity actress said. “Especially in this town, it’s just so hard not to say, ‘Oh, I need to look like that.’ No, be a good person, be a good mom, do a good job with the lunch, let someone cut in front of you who looks like they’re in a bigger hurry. The people I find most beautiful are the ones who aren’t trying.”

Sandra, who is a mother to 5-year-old Louis, also explained why she chooses to parent her son with tough love, even though her baby boy secretly has her wrapped around his finger.

“I will never let him know it. We have rules,” she said. “I let everyone else be the aunties and uncles who spoil him and I’m the one that lays down the law.”

The World’s Most Beautiful issue, which also features Vanessa Hudgens, Gigi Hadid, Ariana Grande, and Laverne Cox in the countdown, hits newsstands this Friday.
