Saudi-based Panda Retail Company is to sign cooperation protocol with Egyptian trade and industry ministry today on establishing new commercial chains.
Minister Khaled Hanafy stated that the Saudi company has submitted a request to invest in more than 16 land plots by establishing commercial chains.
Additionally, Panda requested upgrading around 20 branches of Alexandria for Consumer Complexes Company- Alex Markets as well as providing training for the employees.
Habafy added that Egyptian Internal Trade Development Authority (ITDA) owns around 733 plots with the space of 6.2 million square meters in addition to366 consumer complexes branches whose spaces are estimated at 242,000 square meters all over Egypt.
