SCI renews Suez Canal’s $349 mln marine fleet insurance policy

Egypt’s composite insurer, Suez Canal Insurance Company (SCI) has renewed an insurance policy contract for Suez Canal Authority’s fleet of marine units, an official told Amwal Al Ghad on Sunday.

Ayman Nassef, Marine Hull General Manager at Suez Canal Insurance, further said the insurance policy is with total sum insured of up to 3.1 billion Egyptian pounds (349.1 million).

The policy is a one-year renewable term, involving marine hull insurance providing coverage for all the marine units, Nassef added.
