Seven vessels carrying agricultural products leave Ukraine’s ports to Egypt, Indonesia, Algeria

Seven vessels carrying a total of 266,747 tons of grain and other agricultural products had left Ukraine’s ports on Thursday, carrying them to Egypt, Indonesia, Algeria, the Joint Coordination Center (JCC) said.

In particular, the Al Saad vessel is heading to Indonesia with 55,000 tons of wheat on board, the Golden Arsenal is carrying 27,000 tons of wheat to Algeria, and the Peace M is carrying 25,000 tons of corn to Egypt.

The Trinity bulker is bound for Israel with 53,820 tons of corn on board, and the Star Atlas is carrying 35,719 tons of sunflower meal and 31,608 tons of corn to China.

While, the Nordic Skagen vessel is delivering 32,300 tons of corn to Spain, and the Oris Princess is heading to Greece with 6,300 tons of wheat on board.

Ukraine intends to send more than 60 wheat-laden vessels to needy countries by the end of spring 2023 under the humanitarian assistance programme, according to the Ministry.

Another, 74 vessels are waiting to move into the Ukrainian ports, and 21 vessels are loaded with cargo and are waiting for inspection in Turkish territorial waters, the JCC added.
