NBE’s 2-Year Finance To Tourism Sector Hits EGP2 Bln – Official

The National Bank of Egypt has granted the tourism sector funding worth EGP 2 billion within the last two years, the Deputy Chairman told Amwal Al Ghad.

NBE Deputy Chairman Sherif Elwy pointed out that tourism sector is one of the most attracted sectors for banks, despite passing through many fluctuations but it managed to recover rapidly.

He added that NBE allocates EGP 6-7 billion to tourism sector, assuring that NBE did not refrain from funding tourism sector and is willing to finance any project  proves  its worth.
