Sisi, Abu Dhabi crown prince meet in Egypt’s Alexandria

Egypt's President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of UAE's Armed Forces Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi received on Wednesday Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of UAE’s Armed Forces Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in Borg El-Arab Airport in Alexandria, according to a statement released by Egypt’s presidency spokesman Bassam Radi.

This is the 11th meeting between the two leaders since 2014.

The visit, which will last two days, was announced in a statement by the Egyptian government earlier on Wednesday.

The meeting is expected to tackle bilateral relations and address the latest regional developments.

Bin Zayed’s last visit to Egypt was in August 2018.
