Steel companies fix the price in March at 4650 EGP per ton

Steel companies announced that they will fix the steel price in march 4500 EGP per ton for delivery in factory, and 4650 EGP per ton for the final consumer, while “Ezz steel” company declared to fix the steel prices for March just as February’s price that was 4600 EGP per ton for delivery in factory, and 4750 EGP per ton for the final consumer.

The rest of the companies also declared the prices for March, as Beshay steel – the second producer of iron in the domestic market- fixe the price at 4550 EGP per ton for delivery in factory, as well as AlAttal steel company fixes the price at 4525 EGP per ton for delivery in factory.

Samir Naaman  -Marketing director for the Ezz Steel company- said that price-fixing came after the global stability of pallet prices, in addition to recession in the markets because of winter season, beside the increase of steel supply in the markets over demand.
