Sudan plans Investments in Egypt’s Agriculture Sector

In his speech during Egypt’s Economic Development Conference, Sudanese President Omar Al-Bashir announced that his country would invest in the Egyptian agriculture sector.

The president clarified that Sudan has the land and water and Egypt has the human resources and expertise while gulf countries can provide financing.

Moreover, Al-Bashir added that new border between Egypt and Sudan would be opened soon at Arqin in order to enhance Egypt’s exports to reach Africa.
