Egyptian Supply Ministry is seeking alluring EGP500 million initial investments through expanding in logistic areas across governorates, Minister Khaled Hanafy revealed.
It is currently considering establishing logistic regions in addition to reviewing the necessary finance for projects in which the Ministry is aiming to plan including logistic areas, commodities exchanges and grain storage, Hanafy explained.
In statements to Amwal Al Ghad, Hanafy noted that one the Major UAE group investments will join hands with Egypt in exporting and importing foodstuff , Hanafy added.
Hanafy was quoted by UAE’s Al Khaleej gazette as saying the new alliance targets exports to the region, Africa and Asia, he noted that the planned projects will be built along the new Suez Canal Axis.
It is currently reviewing all the offers to start implementing the projects within the upcoming period.
Moreover, Egypt eyes establishing commodities exchanges for storing wheat in Middle East , the Ministry is aiming to implement this project.
