Supply Minister opens Erbil’s Egyptian Products Fair Tomorrow

Egyptian Supply Minister Khaled Hanafy is to inaugurate the Egyptian Products Fair set to be held in Iraqi Kurdistan’s Capital, Erbil on Thursday. The fair is set to start from September 3-12, 2015.

More than 60 Egyptian firms are set to participate in the fair by showcasing different products such as: textiles, carpets, clothes, natural oils, furniture, handicraft products, chemical and others. Among the participants are EgyptAir and Sono Cairo copmapanies

The opening ceremony will be attended by Kurdish Deputy Prime Minister Qubad Talabani, minister of trade and industry Samal Sardar, Municipalities and Tourism minister Newroz Mawlood Amin, minister of environmental affairs Abdulrahman Abdulrahim in addition to Kurdistan’s investment minister.

Moreover, Hanafy is set to meet with the Kurdish ministers to discuss means of enhancing economic and trade cooperation between Egypt and Kurdistan. He will also meet the Kurdish President Masoud Barzani.
