TE Says Working on Repairing 8 Internet Cables in North Cairo

Mohamed Al-Nawawi, CEO of Telecom Egypt (TE)(ETAL-CA) said 8 main cables of internet services in North-Cairo have cut  within the current week and thousands of users affected by this event.

Al-Nawawi has pointed out that during the conference which has held today for launching partnership between TE and Talaat Mostafa Group(TMG), the company is seeking to repair this malfunction.

Theft and robbery acts suspended the submarine and ground cables in the Egyptian market during 2013, TE restored to change its strategy in dealing with cables to cover Egypt mostly as it bases on fiber-optic cables instead of copper cables.
