Egypt’s Talaat Moustafa to Launch EGP2.7bn Medical City in Madinaty

Egyptian developer Talaat Moustafa Group (TMG) (TMGH.CA) is planning establishing an integrated medical city inside Madinaty within this year, with EGP2.7 billion investment cost. The project is due to be finalized by the end of 2016.

The Medical City will contain a specialty hospital with a capacity of 240 beds. Also it will include specialized medical centers in oncology, organ transplantation, orthopedics, sports medicine, rehabilitation, gynecology, pediatrics, and outpatient clinics. Moreover, it will hold as well a medical research center, an academic medical education, and an international center for the medical conferences. In addition to all this, it will have a spa, a hotel, and a commercial medical center.

The process of preparing engineering drawings for Madinaty will be finalized, Ashraf Al Banna ,Vice-President in TMG asserted.

TMG is targeting finalizing Cairo’s International Medical City project on and delivering it by the end of 2016, as it build on an area of 40 feddans (acres) and it is considered to be the major service project which will build inside Madinaty, Al Banna illustrated.

The Medical city will be specialized to hosting the visitors outside the city as it is one of the most largest global centers which will be witnessed by Egypt within the coming two years.
