Trial Of Islam Afefy Adjourned Till 6th Oct.
Dokki Misdemeanor Court adjourned the trial of Islam Afefy, Al Dostour’s Editor-in-Chief, who didn’t attend the session due to his health circumstances, till 16th October session. Islam Afefy is accused insulting Essam El Erian.
El Erian has filed a complaint against Islam Afefy, on the background of what has been published on Al Dostour newspaper, as the editor-in-chief accused Essam El Erian and Khairat Al Shater of holding a secret meeting for the leaders of Freedom and Justice Party (FJP); preparing for riots if Gen. Ahmed Shafiq wins the presidential elections, and shooting the protestors.
Dokki prosecution referred Islam Afefy to trial, after accusing him of publishing false news about Dr Essam El Erian.
