The first U.S. flight humanitarian aid sent in partnership with the United Nations has landed in Egypt’s northern Sinai on Tuesday for Palestinian people during Israeli cease-fire, according to an official statement.
The flight is the first of three relief flights “facilitated by the unique capabilities of the U.S. military that arrived into North Sinai in Egypt,” a senior administration official told reporters.
It is worth noting that more than 2,000 truckloads of aid have been delivered to Gaza since the start of the Israel-Hamas war, according to the administration, including about 800 during the first four days of the humanitarian pause.
