American’s stock market has finished mixed on Friday as Wall Street closed out a terrible week, month and quarter. The Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) closed below 29,000 for the first time since November 2020, as the index lost 500.10 points, or 1.71 percent to 28,725.51.
The Nasdaq Composite fell down by 161.89 points or 1.51 percent to reach the level of 10,575.662. The S&P 500 index eased by 1.51 percent to finish the last trading in September at 3,585.62.
While, Sao Paulo Bovespa index gained 2,372.44 point or 2.20 percent to close the trading session at 110,036.79. The Russell 2000 index decreased by 0.61 percent to 1,664.72.
Toronto stock exchange – TSX COMP rose slightly to 0.01 to reach 18,444.22, while S&P/TSX 60 index decreased by 0.15 percent.
