European markets close higher as Stoxx600 records worst month since June

Britain’s stocks finish higher on Friday as the pan-European Stoxx600 provisionally closed up 1.3 percent as construction stocks (SXOP) gained 2.41 percent and media stocks (SXMP) added 2.42 percent.

The FTSE100 rose by 0.18 percent to end the last trading session in the month at 6,893.81. German’s DAX added 138.81 points or 1.16 percent to 12,114.36.

France’s CAC advanced by 1.51 percent to close at 5,762.3 points, while MOEX Russia index increased 0.18 percent to 1,957.31.

Meanwhile, Italy’s index – FTSE MIB increased by 1.45 percent to 20.648.85 points.
