Ukraine confident in ensuring electricity this winter – minister
Ukrainian Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko expressed confidence in the country’s ability to maintain a stable electricity supply during the upcoming winter season.
Hakushchenko made his announcement on Saturday that despite external challenges and ongoing tensions with Russia, Ukraine remains determined to keep the lights on for its citizens.
Asked in a televised interview whether the country would be able to meet its goal of providing 1.7 gigawatts of generation capacity by the heating season, Halushchenko said, “We will manage to do it.”
