UK’s TUI launches winter breaks at new resort in Egypt next November
UK’s Tourism Union International Company (TUI) is expanding its Egypt holiday offering by launching two new weekly charter flights out of Gatwick to Marsa Alam from winter 2023, according to one of the state’s national news media said on Wednesday.
Richard Sofer, commercial director at TUI, said “Egypt is an incredible holiday destination and great value, and I’m thrilled that we’re now able to give visitors the opportunity to discover a whole new region of the country.”
Travellers can book flight-only and package holidays for eight new resorts on sale from today, through TUI to the lesser-known location five hours from the UK, the announcement added.
Marsa Alam international airport is located 200 miles south of well-known Hugharda, with the airport offering short transfer times to the eight new hotels on offer.
The announcement mentioned that the hotel collection includes the adult-only Steigenberger Coraya Beach and the Jaz Grand Marsa resort boasts with kids’ clubs, both are at Al Qusair, Marsa Alam, Red Sea.
Sofer added “our charter flights will be departing from Gatwick twice a week, giving travellers plenty of opportunity to jet across the globe and make memories that will last a lifetime,” adding that TUI flights will start from November 1, 2023.
