UNCTAD lauds Egypt’s competitive neutrality strategy
Teresa Moreira, head of the Competition and Consumer Policies Branch at the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), lauded Egypt’s commitment to fair competition in its markets.
Addressing the first annual conference of the Egyptian Competition Authority (ECA) that was held on Sunday, Moreira commended Egypt’s competitive neutrality strategy. She highlighted this initiative as a model for other nations, not only in the region but also on a global scale.
According to the UNCTAD, the importance of achieving competitive neutrality lies in promoting economic growth and creating an effective and attractive business environment.
