United States market briefing 17/04/2023

The United States market closed high on Monday, with the Dow rising by 0.3 percent to 33,987.18. The index gained 100.71 points, recording a day high value of 33,991.23 and a day low value of 33,796.91.

The NASDAQ climbed by 0.28 percent to 12,157.72, gaining 34.26 points. The index recorded a day high value of 12,159.02 and a day low value of 12,064.10.

S&P 500 soared by 0.33 percent to 4,151.32 after it gained 13.68 points. It recorded a day high value of 4,151.72 and a day low value of 4,123.18.
