United States market briefing 20/04/2023

The United States market closed low on Thursday, with the Dow dropping by -0.33 percent to 33,786.62. The index lost 110.39 points, recording a day high value of 33,875.39 and a day low value of 33,677.74.

The NASDAQ index fell by -0.80 percent losing 97.67 points to close at 12,059.56. It recorded a day high value of 12,155.96 and a day low value of 12,011.95.

S&P 500 inched down by -0.60 percent to 4,129.79, losing 24.73 points. The index recorded a day high value of 4,148.57 and a day low value of 4,114.57.
