Vietnam cuts fuel prices on Thursday

The Vietnamese government has announced a reduction in retail prices for petrol and diesel products, effective from 3 pm (8:00am GMT) on Thursday, according to the Ministry of Trade and Industry and the Ministry of Finance.

The price of E5RON92 bio-fuel decreased by 901 Vietnamese dong to 20,715 dong per liter, while RON95-III fell by 930 dongs to 21,673 dong per liter.

Diesel 0.05S was reduced by 737 dongs to 19,141 dong per liter, and kerosene by 684 dongs to 19,411 dong per liter. Mazut oil 180CST 3.5S was lowered by 858 dongs to 16,028 dong per kilogram.

The decision to cut fuel prices was made without utilising the petrol price stabilization fund.
