Vietnam’s industrial production surges in Sep. ’24

Vietnam’s industrial production index is estimated to reach 10.8 per cent in September 2024 compared to the same period last year, as per a latest data released by the General Statistics Office.

The mining industry fell by 7.3 per cent compared to last year, while processing and manufacturing rose by 13.1 per cent. Electricity production and distribution saw a 6.4 per cent increase, and water supply and waste treatment grew by 15.2 per cent.
