Egypt will start Monday a new round of loan negotiations with the World Bank Group in Washington DC.
Sahar Nasr – Egyptian Minister of International Cooperation – is heading Monday to Washington to conduct talks with the international lender over a US$3 million loan to finance mega developmental projects in Egypt.
In Washington, Nasr is set to meet with officials from the U.S. treasury secretary, the World Bank, and the International Monetary Fund (IMF). The visit is designated to promote the Egyptian government’s economic and development programmes.
