A large number of youth businessmen in Alexandria finished yesterday a workshop that organized by the US consulate in Alexandria, under the auspicious of USAID and US Department of State. The workshop was about the bellwether business and the new investments that may bolster the Egyptian economy to achieve high rates of growth during the forthcoming period.
Jennifer Welsh, US consul in Alexandria, said the Egyptian youth have ambition and talent to lead Egyptian development revolution in the coming period, but they need ideas and the support of government to activate them.
the workshop lasted from 27 to 29 September, and formed 24 teams of young business to discuss the new ideas in the business world and ways of implementing them, as well as the role of the small entrepreneurs in increasing the employment rates, moreover, to boost the Gross Domestic Product (GDP).
